One finds Jurgis Lapenas’ homestead on the fabulous peninsula of Sartai lake, just near the Sartai hippodrome famous for the annual races it hosts. The homestead is surrounded by trees that protect one’s privacy from the inquisitive eye.
The sleeping area of the homestead is able to accommodate the total number of 16 people. Two newly built timbered cottages standing at the distance of 80-100 meters from the lakeshore were designed as the places equally fit for long-term residence and a short-term vacation and are ready to host tourists all year long. There are outdoor tubs and fireplaces on the territories adjacent to each of the cottages. There is also a reconstructed steam bathhouse on the lakeshore. Since the homestead occupies the area of 2,3 ha, it is possible to accommodate a larger number of tourists either in tents or in the nearby homesteads employed for the purposes of village tourism.
The cottages are very comfortable - each house possesses all conveniences of the modern home such as a vast outdoor terrace, interconnected living and cooking areas, a fireplace situated in the first-floor living area, a shower cabin and a toilet area; bedrooms are in the attic. Alongside the stove heating both houses are equipped with electric heaters for additional warmth. Essential kitchen equipment and cutlery is also present. There are two bedrooms in the first cottage. Each of them contains a single and a double bed. In case of necessity, we can offer two folding beds. The second cottage has four bedrooms with the total number of sleepers amounting to ten. There are two rooms for two people and two rooms for three people.
Holidaymakers are welcome to make use of such homestead inventory and facilities as barbecue kettles, spits, grills, firewood, a little fish smokehouse, a lakeside pier, boats as well as pedalos at no additional charge. Firewood to be used at the outdoor fireplaces is to be paid for separately. Horse riding and sledging (at winter time) can also be organized.  The homestead is easily accessed via the asphalted road (only the last 0,5 km is not blacktopped). The closest 24-hour supermarket and the gasoline station are in Užtilte, within the distance of 2 km. The town of Dusetai where one may find two coffeehouses is within the distance of 3 km. The landlords are living in the separate cottage nearby.
